2. Data we may process
The website does not create user accounts or take payments. When you use the contact form, the website prepares a message in your email application. Data is sent only when you choose to send that message.
- Your name, email address and any other contact details you include.
- The car, objective, indicative budget, timing, country, links and other enquiry details.
- Subsequent correspondence and information required to prepare or perform a commercial relationship.
- Minimum technical data handled by the hosting provider, such as IP address, date, requested page, browser and security logs.
- Language and, where applicable, statistics preferences stored locally in your browser.
Do not send proof-of-funds documents, identity documents or other sensitive data in an initial enquiry unless a suitable channel has first been agreed directly with Monza.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Answer enquiries and assess opportunities involving purchase, sale, import, storage or automotive support.
- Take pre-contractual steps requested by an interested party and perform contracts.
- Manage commercial relationships, documents, invoicing, tax obligations and legal claims.
- Protect and operate the website and prevent abuse, based on Monza's legitimate interests.
- Produce usage statistics only when a tool is configured and the user has consented.
4. Recipients and transfers
Data may be handled by providers of email, hosting, IT support, accounting, legal advice, logistics or other services required for the enquiry. Only data appropriate to the purpose is shared, subject to applicable obligations.
Some providers may operate outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, Monza will seek to use transfer mechanisms recognised by applicable law, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention
Data is retained for as long as necessary to answer the enquiry, maintain the commercial relationship and comply with legal obligations. It may be retained for applicable limitation periods where required for invoicing, compliance or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
6. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
Send requests to info@monza.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese National Data Protection Commission.
7. Local storage and statistics
The website uses strictly functional local storage to remember the selected language. Statistics infrastructure is prepared, but no analytics tool is loaded until it has been configured and authorised by the user. If activated, the choice can be changed through the privacy preferences in the footer.
8. Security and updates
Monza uses technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. No electronic transmission is entirely risk-free, so particularly sensitive information should be shared only through an agreed channel.
This policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The current version is the one published on this page.
